My August Adventures

Mommy started doing some preschool things with me this week. We have workbooks and flashcards and games and crafts! I love doing it! Right now I know all the letter sounds and have been practicing. I've started sounding out 3 letter words using my flashcards and puzzles and am learning about vowels. We go to the library every week and pick out a bunch of books to read. Right now, I'm fascinated with fairies! Also, I've been learning about addition and subtraction and can count up to 30, although sometimes what comes after 29 is 20-10 LOL

I love helping out in the garden: weeding, picking tomatoes and checking on my watermelons. I love eating vegetables!

I ask Mommy about baby everyday! I can't wait until he gets here! Mommy said that I can be in charge of his socks and I get to tickle his little toes. I always talk about how when the baby gets here, there will be 5 of us and I'm always asking questions about how he will fit into our family. Like yesterday I asked Mommy where the baby will sit in the car.

We went to the Children's Museum yesterday (video in progress) and learned all about DINOSAURS! I learned about carnivores and herbivores and how to tell the difference. Then we played in the Playscape and experimented with water and sand. At the end, I got to ride the Merry-Go-Round! I love going to the Children's "Wee-seum".

Hannah is HERE!!!!!

I'm so excited my cousin Hannah is here! We played for hours, our parents only saw us a few times when we ran out of room in the toy room and started spreading our mess...er...fun around the living room and sun room too! My mommy interrupted our jamming session to take pictures...i was singing and Hannah was playing the maracas, cymbals and xylophone. We love playing dress-up and decided to wear the princess outfits that Aunt Shirley got me! Jonas was sleeping and Harper was hanging out with the grown-ups playing Wii Guitar Hero. I think we are both really tired, it was late, but if we could've, we would've stayed up all night playing!
